The Good Kind of Tired

I love being out on the road - and I love getting home. We just had an amazing 11 day run and got to worship with some amazing folks in NC and VA. I thought I'd share just a few highlights:

1. We were at Knotts Island Baptist in Knotts Island, NC. God is really doing some amazing things at this church and I always love getting to hang out with Pastor Scott Manns
2. We were at Straight Street in Roanoke, VA. I think I'm going to have to dedicate an entire blog post to what God is doing through this ministry in downtown Roanoke.
3. We were at First Christian Church in Fredericksburg, VA. This church was built in 1853, and has a colonial style sounding board. What a beautiful place to worship - especially when you think of all the songs that have been lifted up there in 150+ years.
4. We were at FBC Newport News in Newport News, VA - I lived in the Hampton Roads area for 6 years - so it felt like homecoming for me.
5. We were at Fairview at River Club in Fredericksburg, VA. JC Mason and the team from that church opened up for us and did an incredible job.
6. We were at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Richmond, VA. Let me just tell you, Lutherans know how to get down. It was a great night of worship outside - and they made us some incredible posters (see above).
7. We drove all night and led worship at Ridge Church in Charlotte, NC. I'll have to admit - after sleeping 4 hours in the van - I don't remember that much from this one! But from what I hear - God moved in a big way : )

Thanks for praying for us.
